The online election of the Photonics21 Board of Stakeholders will take place between 21 October and 4 November 2025. A total of 23 seats on the Board of Stakeholders are up for election.
According to the Terms of Reference, certain deadlines must be met:
- for registration as a voter: 20 September 2025 (midnight)
- for nomination as a BoS member/representative: 20 September 2025 (midnight)
- for the online voting period: 21 October – 4 November 2025 (noon)
The Photonics21 Terms of Reference further describe the voting process for the election of the new members of the Board of Stakeholders (affiliations) and their representatives on the Board of Stakeholders (persons who represent their affiliations).
According to the Terms of Reference § 5 (6) c), each Photonics21 member has one vote; it being understood, however, that only one vote per affiliation can be cast, regardless of how many Photonics21 members the affiliation employs. Before registering as a voter, please check the list of currently registered voters below to determine if a voter from the same affiliation has already been registered.
We would like to encourage you to nominate candidates for the Board of Stakeholders and/or candidate as board member yourself. Please note that "not more than one affiliation within a group can be BoS member" (§ 5 (3) Terms of Reference).
